The park is known for its limestone cliffs, the River Alyn, and well-maintained trails, perfect for family outings.

Porth Dyniewaid, also known as Angel Bay, is a peaceful cove near Llandudno, famous for its grey seal colony. The best time to spot seals is between September and November during pupping season, but they can be seen year-round from the clifftop paths.

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an engineering marvel that carries the Llangollen Canal over the River Dee. Completed in 1805, it offers stunning views and walking paths, as well as boat trips. The nearby Trevor Basin Visitor Centre provides exhibits and refreshments.

It’s about a 45-minute drive from Wildwood Quarry Retreat.

Greenfield Valley Heritage Park, located in Holywell, Flintshire, is a 70-acre country park filled with woodland trails, historic ruins like Basingwerk Abbey, and remnants of the area’s industrial past.
